To be fruitful, Jesus said, JOHN 15:4 (KJV)
The Instruction: Abide in me, and I in you
Why? As a branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye except ye
To Do: abide in me.
Think on this and apply if you desire to be fruitful. What does it mean to be fruitful?
It means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. It goes deeper than just being born again, memorizing and quoting the scriptures, saying and doing all the expected things. It means your life is no longer yours to live but His through you in all that you do always not sometimes.
This is not easy, as it is a process but that’s why we must abide. With the help of the Holy Spirit nothing is impossible if you truly desire to be a disciple. Be encouraged! Though He’s gone to prepare a place for you and me, He left us the Holy Spirit to assist us in living life victoriously.
